I’ve truly loved listening to all the recent works by living composers featured on this recording. I especially appreciate the hybrid character of the album as a whole, and the way it brings together different aesthetics that constantly transform and interact with one another. It’s wonderful to feel such vitality, creativity, and energy in today’s music for the harpsichord.
